Getting rid of it; I think it's time don't you?

I wasn't always fat, and I'm not going to always be either.

First of all, congratulations!! That is a true blessing. I see you have lost lots of weight. Honestly, did u need to get surgery, or was it really all the FIRM? I noticed your arms, abs, legs, everything really look great. I'm just afraid that I will lose the weight and have saggy skin everywhere, and end up feeling defeated all over again. Also, do u have an alternative idea for Weight Watchers, for someone who is on a budget and cant spend much money each month on these weight loss programs?

Jackie- thank you! Yes, honestly, it was all the FIRM and a good eating plan. I haven't had any surgery other than 2 c-sections with the birth of my girls. I do have some loose skin, but I look at it as it's better than skin filled with fat....it's hard to hide fat, but much easier to hide skin. As far as being on a budget ....I'd just try cutting back....start eliminating junk from your diet and focus on getting lean proteins, and fruits and veggies in. Be sure to check out my food for thought page it'll go a little deeper into your questions here. Thanks, again!

Hi Carla, I was visiting your website and I just want to congratulate you on reaching your weight loss goals! That is awesome. I have about 50 pounds to lose and I am having a hard time getting started. I watched an infomercial a couple of nights ago on the Firm Wave and I am contemplating whether I should get it. It looks like it would be lots of fun. Can you use it on a carpeted surface? I'm just wondering if it would be as effective. I wish I could be as dedicated as you are. I can't seem to stay on any diet long enough to lose any weight. If I lose a couple of pounds, it comes right back on. Anyway, I love your site and I admire you so much. Any words of advice or motivation would be apppreciated! Thank you for sharing your story and your pictures!

Hello, Janice, thank you so much! Yes, you can use the Wave on carpet it comes with a thin mat to put it on to keep it from slipping. You can dedicate yourself...you've just got to believe it to achieve it! Don't sell yourself so short.....be consistent and it can happen for you too! It's is hard...but it's SO doable!

Hey Carla!
I love your site! I have fallen off the weight loss wagon. I need to loose 100 lbs. AGAIN, and I am so frusterated. I need to get back on WW, and the firm just arrived. This may seem odd, considering we don't know each other......but I was wondering if you would pray for me. Thanks! Kristy

Absolutely!! Thanks for leaving me a message. You can do all things thru Christ as well! Let's get that FIRM DVD in and get started to an all new you!

Hi Carla,
I've known about you for years - heard about you / saw you first through WW.
I have been a "serious" WWer for about 8 years now ... lost 40 lbs (Yeah!) and am finally exercising. I have been using the WATP dvds and am ready for something a little more intense.
I'm sure you're asked this a lot and will search your site for the answer but my question is this:
Which "The Firm" dvd Cardio / Toning would you suggest for a Firm beginner?
Thanks for the info ... you and others have been great inspirations to so many people ... I'm grateful that you were compelled to share your weight loss / toning journey.

Hello, Roseann, I'll send you an invite to join my site. There were some issues yesterday morning that I think are resolved now. Sorry!!!
As far as what I would recommend for a beginner.....any of the FIRM systems except Body Sculpting System 3 ..that one is pretty tough to follow as far as footwork. However, all of them are challenging and take practice to get the moves...just like riding a bike..if we keep trying we'll get it! I wouldn't go with just one DVD ..I would definitely go with a system since they different workouts are designed to be used together. Check out my favorite things page with links and I have some of my faves listed on there. Congrats on the 40 pounds!! High five!!!
