Getting rid of it! I think it's time. Don't you?

I wasn't always fat, and I'm not going to always be either.

Are you settling for less?

Posted on September 1, 2011 at 7:50 AM

How much more would you be able to accomplish if you just pushed yourself just a tad out of your comfort zone?

I don't mean go out and try to climb Mt. Everest today, but just give yourself an extra little nudge here and there.

Hurry up, jerk! Are you just going through the motions on your walk? Your workout? Your daily life? During that walk, pick up your pace a bit from time to time, really pump those arms, or hey, even do fist pumps over your head. Who cares if the  neighbors think you're crazy! Ha! Tell them, You're stepping/pummping out of your comfort zone!

Working Out Hard Stock Photo - During your other workouts, how about lunging a little deeper, lighting a little heavier, or jumping a little higher. When you shock your body into giving you a little more  is when you get the REAL results! Don't settle and think this is as good as it gets, because truly we ALL can do much more than we give ourselves credit for.

Things never get better unless we give them effort. Most folks are shooting at nothing and pretty much hitting the bulls eye every time. Step outside that comfort zone...if you don't pursue YOUR best you'll NEVER get it!

We don't have to walk into Heaven dragging one leg behind us....let's be the best that He says we can be!

3 John 1:2 NKJV

2Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Nicely said Carla, So often I find myself just going through life in a daze, the day starts and its over and I can't even remember any moment of joy or fun or have not counted my blessing, least of all put any effort into the day. It's so easy to get caught up in just "being" and forgetting to live. Not pushing to be better, not putting in any effort and then wondering why nothing changes.

You said it quite well there yourself, Sherry! I'm usually preaching to myself when I post things like this!

Good to "see" you and great, encouraging post! So true - I do an outdoor walking CD on my MP3 player (Debbie Rocker) and she has us do walking lunges at one point, but I don't do them (embarrassing outdoors!) but I just *might* now! ;)
