Hungry?...and Pics of patio project!

Posted on July 8, 2010 at 11:39 AM

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled;"

(Matthew 5:6, NIV).)

Are you looking for something to eat all the time? Maybe you're not truly hungry for food...maybe it's Him that you're looking for!  Try feasting on His word the next time you're wanting to just eat ...to well...EAT and you're not truly "belly" hungry!

As some of you know I've been working on my patio that is attached to the back of our home....it previously was nothing more than a concrete slab...no roof, no walls, no nothing. Now..it's under roof and totally screened in and I LOVE it! It's been soo worth all the hard work!  We've still got some finishing touches to do, but here are some pics of what's been keeping me busy!  The last picture shows the table that used to belong to my Grandmother that was 99 and recently passed away. If you notice the watering can in the 2nd pic alongside the furthest wall...that was her's too! OH and the mulch in the pictures! I've seen enough mulch to last me QUITE a while! LOL

Carla,
Love the pics. I love all of those home remodeling and do it yourself shows on TV. I know how special those personal touches- like your grandma's table mean. The watering can is a nice touch.

The patio looks great! Looks like an excellent place to drink a good cup of coffee! ;)

You're right, Rhonda, that's where I normally have mine now! :) It was especially nice sitting under it last night and watching a storm coming in the distance...but boy when it got close I got in the house LOL!

ohhh I love this! a screened porch, you can actually enjoy your time outside. In our neck of the woods, there's tons of mosquitoes this time of the year, they wait at the door to attack us as soon as we walk out! not to mention the ugly nasty flies we cannot dine outdoors. This is really neat, enjoy!
