Hey, guys, I know it's been a long long time since I've blogged. Sorry! As some of you may have read earlier this year I lost my mom in March after a major surgery. It was very unexpected and I was and still am at times devastated. Fast forward to October of this year and I suddenly lost my dad too. I don't know why God gives us such blows at times, but I do have a peace about it all. I know my Dad was so tired, depressed, and missing mama so much and they are now together again. I'm thankful he accepted Christ this past summer. I miss my mom daily, she was the family rock. I gained a bit of weight after her death that I have since gotten back off with His help.
I'm still doing the FIRM for the majority of my workouts. I occasionally walk or hike. I've also been challenging myself to REALLY limit the sugar intake. It makes such a difference in my physique! I'm back to lifting heavy again as well. It really leans me out and I'm still working on getting that "job" done.
If you're struggling out there remember U turns are ALWAYS allowed! You too can do what I've done. You can keep it off and You CAN feel good! You don't have to "do it' perfectly. I sometimes take the scenic route, sometimes the expressway. I've been at this since 2003 when I joined WWer's and started the FIRM during that summer. You can be results not typical!!! Get determined, put the excuses aside, and fight for your health and fitness!
